Our Work in Practice
This holiday season, the MRS team proudly supported Florence Crittenton Services through their Holiday Giving Drive. Our efforts began with the MRS team fulfilling the gift wishes of 10 teen moms and their children. A team of 11 MRS employees then delivered the unwrapped gifts to the Florence Crittenton School, where they were the first onsite to set up gift sorting in preparation for their Gift-Wrapping Event.
Our team moved toys, clothing, and diapers from the donation drop-off area to the Baby Bucks store and carefully organized the generous donations from community members.
While onsite, the team had the privilege of hearing from Michelle Baldwin, Florence Crittenton Services’ Volunteer & Event Manager, who shared the organization’s inspiring 125-year history of serving young mothers and their children in Colorado.
As one of our team members shared: “The true holiday spirit lies in the huge impact small acts of kindness and generosity can have, especially for children. Florence Crittenton exemplifies this spirit, providing the extra support our culture’s most vulnerable need.”
We’re grateful to have played a role in spreading joy and making a difference this season.
