Overview
As part of our commitment to improving safety and efficiency along shared higher-speed freight and passenger rail lines, Modern Railway Systems (MRS) initiated a transformative project designed to benefit both local communities and rail operations.
Scope of Work
MRS modernized ten critical signal locations, including four control points and six crossings. The work included installing new signal houses and cables, upgrading AC electrical services, deploying advanced fiber optic cables, and rehabilitating retaining walls to support both existing and new signal structures.
Impact
These upgrades enhance reliability, strengthen system security, and improve overall rail performance for passengers and freight operations alike.
