Paul has more than 40 years of experience in the railroad signaling, communications, and traction power systems field. He has managed projects and teams responsible for all facets of the transit and heavy rail signaling and communications industry across the nation. Under Paul’s leadership, MRS has grown into a trusted, reputable resource for clients with complex signaling and communications challenges, including the implementation of Positive Train Control systems and overall systems integration. Paul’s personal resume includes projects of all delivery types, including design-build, CM/GC, and Design-Build-Operate-Maintain methods, providing him with meaningful insight into how to best support teams and clients in maximizing value through excellent project management. Taken as a whole, Paul’s hands-on leadership and technical expertise ensure that MRS’ teams are successful in supporting clients in keeping railroads and transit systems operating safely.
Shon has nearly 30 years of experience in the railroad industry. Beginning his career as a signal and communications tester and inspector for heavy rail clients, Shon’s experience in the years since has included systems engineering for all elements of the transit and heavy rail industry. He is a skilled technical engineer who has a reputation with clients for problem-solving and has positioned himself and his team as the partner of choice for agencies when faced with challenging technical projects. He is directly responsible for many technical innovations in use on passenger rail systems across North America and leads his team in a manner that encourages innovation and exemplary client service. Shon’s numerous professional achievements are due to his comprehensive understanding of railroad signal systems, extensive work experience, dedicated work ethic, and motivating approach to team management.
