This $1.5 billion Progressive Design-Build project encompasses 6.7 miles of new light rail alignment and an accompanying maintenance facility in Southern California’s East San Fernando Valley. This initiative enables Metro to expand its footprint and better serve the community by providing this congested region with a much-needed public transit service.
The Stacy Witbeck and MRS teams will execute this project by leveraging their extensive expertise. The project includes a center-running alignment, 10 stations, and extensive utilities relocation and installation. Additionally, it includes a new Overhead Catenary System (OCS), advanced traction power systems, state-of-the-art signaling, and robust communications systems, all integrated within a complex urban environment.
Our extensive experience with similar technical and alternative delivery projects, coupled with the specialized knowledge of our key personnel, positions our Joint Venture with Skanska for exceptional success. These qualifications were key factors in our selection for this significant endeavor.
