CATS 6th Street Crossing Gate

The light rail crossing at 6th Street in downtown Charlotte is a heavily trafficked area for pedestrians and vehicles. To enhance safety for all users, a new crossing gate was essential. MRS furnished, installed, and tested a new pedestrian and bicycle lane crossing gate, updating the equipment in the crossing case to support the new gate. This upgrade significantly improved safety measures in this busy urban area.
