This contract encompassed a combination of maintenance services and task order-based special projects aimed at maintaining, upgrading, and assisting in developing new concepts for RTD’s entire security system. This extensive network includes 59 miles of light rail, 29 miles of commuter rail, 54 light rail stations, over 1,000 buses, 172 light rail vehicles, and 66 commuter rail vehicles.
MRS was responsible for furnishing and maintaining all CCTV, emergency telephones, and Access Control Systems, which are integrated back into two security command centers where dispatchers use situation-based technology to monitor these systems. Our relationship with RTD allowed our team to make informed recommendations based on the latest technology advancements, including solutions from Axis, Panasonic, Samsung/Hanwha, and Qognify VMS software.
