Alameda, CA – December 8, 2011 – Stacy and Witbeck, Inc. (SWI), one of the largest and most respected rail transit contractors in the country, has established a new operating subsidiary, Modern Railway Systems (MRS), to address a wide variety of systems requirements related to the rail transit industry. On November 30, 2011, SWI acquired Rail Systems Solutions, Inc. (RSS) of Denver, Colorado and merged RSS operations with MRS. Effective immediately, MRS has assumed all existing RSS operations through its headquarters in Denver.
